We will be running guided tours from Abingdon, Woolhampton Wallingford, Reading, Newbury, Hungerford, Froxfield, Oxford  & Windsor in 2022 using our own range of paddleboards.

Places are limited to 12 per tour. Each tour will start with a full safety briefing and tips on how to get started on the water. We will provide all equipment  including buoyancy jackets.

Home town of Agatha Christie and the filming location of many episodes of the TV series Midsomer Murders, featuring DCI Tom Barnaby. We will escape the scene of the crime by gently paddling up the River Thames alongside Castle Meadows where you can see the ruins of the Anglo Saxon Castle. Our paddle starts and finishes on the opposite bank to the Boat House, where you can enjoy post paddling refreshments.

Meet by the Teashop by the Canal for a gentle paddle out of the town into the rolling countryside. Upon our return you can sample the many delights that Newbury has to offer including open park spaces, a bustling market and a great selection of open air bars and cafes.

Meet at Hales Meadow, next to Abingdon Bridge. This is where the River Thames meanders between the Cotswolds and the Chiltern Hills, both designated Areas of Outstanding Beauty. This is an opportunity to glide through the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. Upon our return the opportunity to enjoy some refreshments at the Nags Head, which sits on its own island, is not to be missed

See the “City of Spires” from a totally different perspective. Our tour starts at Donnington Bridge, near to the College Boat Houses. We venture up the River Thames before joining the River Cherwell and turning towards the city center. The Botanical Gardens make a fabulous backdrop before we reach the iconic bell tower at Magdalen College. Our route back to takes us around the Water Meadow, before rejoining the River Thames.

We take advantage of the summer evenings with a relaxing paddle from the historic market town of Hungerford, towards the setting sun. Our route takes us through the North Wessex Downs an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We meet at Hills Meadow Car Park and paddle up the River Thames. Passing between Christchurch Gardens and Frys Island through the conservation area  around Caversham Court.

Whilst in Reading you can take the opportunity to see Banksy’s mural of Oscar Wilde descending the wall of Reading Gaol or just enjoy the cafes, bars and open spaces alongside the River Thames.

A peaceful tour from the rural backdrop of Froxfield, just west of Hungerford. This tour is one for the nature lovers, looking to escape the hum of our towns and cities.

This stretch of the Kennet and Avon has an abundance of wildlife as it meanders towards the village of Great Bedwyn.

With the stunning backdrop of Windsor Castle, we paddle upstream towards the racecourse, into the delightful countryside of Royal Berkshire. We return to the town, where we enjoy the magnificent views of the castle, from the water, before returning to the Café by the River, an ideal place for post paddle refreshments. No trip to Windsor is complete without a walk around the town and crossing the bridge over to Eton. Great cafes, pubs, and restaurants in a magnificent setting.
