Wallingford
Home town of Agatha Christie and the filming location of many episodes of the TV series Midsomer Murders, featuring DCI Tom Barnaby. We will escape the scene of the crime by gently paddling up the River Thames alongside Castle Meadows where you can see the ruins of the Anglo Saxon Castle. Our paddle starts and finishes on the opposite bank to the Boat House, where you can enjoy post paddling refreshments.
Abingdon
Meet at Hales Meadow, next to Abingdon Bridge. This is where the River Thames meanders between the Cotswolds and the Chiltern Hills, both designated Areas of Outstanding Beauty. This is an opportunity to glide through the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. Upon our return the opportunity to enjoy some refreshments at the Nags Head, which sits on its own island, is not to be missed
Oxford
Meeting place: Car Park, Meadow Lane, Oxford, OX4 4BJ

We venture up the River Thames before joining the River Cherwell and turning towards the city center. The Botanical Gardens make a fabulous backdrop before we reach the iconic bell tower at Magdalen College. Our route back to takes us around the Water Meadow, before rejoining the River Thames.
